Once you have your loved one cremated, you are confronted with the question of what to do with the remains. Most families choose to have them placed in an urn which they keep in a place of honor within their home. That is fine for a while, but a problem can arise when the present generation passes away. The second or third generation, who never knew the individual, may remove the urn from its place of honor and put it somewhere less conspicuous – perhaps the basement or a closet.
A better solution might be to place the urn in a niche in our mausoleum where it can remain permanently in quiet dignity.
